A VERY FRAGILE RELEASE COMING ALONG AS A LIGHT BREATH

you've simply got to read jules' comics. as a physical art piece they display immense care and consideration of the form. as stories they nearly creak of wood flooring and echo of cosmic wind. like being let in on a secret, the comics are personal and vulnerable yet reveal entire new worlds to the reader. capsules of vignetted memories as they are, any borders between reader and story soften and blur as you're slowly enveloped by their orbit, drifting into the core. you get to explore the story as it explores you in turn. the pairings and repetition of different stylistic flourishes and framing portray a journey of memory, a world witnessed afterward. whichever themes and elements may not be immediately apparent to a reader inspire curiosity and reflection. the depth of feeling is invitational, but in no way didactic— for everything else, it's a research opportunity into the centre of the stone fruit. plus they're mad gorgeous so
